In 2023, I completed my undergraduate degree at BYU in Economics with minors in statistics and business. In my degree, I developed the skills of inferential data science like data cleaning, wrangling, and visualization in R and Python as well as OLS regression analysis, advanced econometrics, machine learning (Neural Networks, Random Forrests, Penalized Regression, K-means Clustering, PCA, and other algorithms), and data visualization. My economics degree and the machine learning class I took from the program put special emphasis on understanding causal connections through data. I've gotten to practice many of these skills and apply them to real business and economic situations in my jobs with Speechcloud, HP Tech Ventures, and the NBER. I’m working to make the most out of every opportunity I have now in hopes of serving and making an impact in the future.
