Thomas Barden is a senior at BYU studying Economics and Mathematics. Born in Salt Lake City and raised in Minnesota, Thomas hopes to pursue a PhD in Economics following graduation and has recently accepted a Research Fellowship in the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. Current research projects include analyzing the effect of children’s neighborhood influences on occupational outcomes and the consequences of exogenous wealth shocks on intergenerational mobility.
